1 ) Trip
"Two For The Road",
213
00:20:40,239 --> 00:20:43,208
We won't have to waste a minute
stopping for lunch.
214
00:20:43,542 --> 00:20:46,340
The trouble with women is
they try to label you...
215
00:20:46,411 --> 00:20:48,106
put you in a pigeonhole.
216
00:20:49,414 --> 00:20:51,382
What they don't realize is...
217
00:20:52,851 --> 00:20:56,014
the only thing that fits in a pigeonhole
is a pigeon.
218
00:20:57,055 --> 00:20:59,080
Marriage is all they ever think about.
219
00:20:59,191 --> 00:21:01,989
l don't intend to get married
for at least 40 years.
220
00:21:08,233 --> 00:21:12,067
lt's not that l have anything against sex.
lt's contracts l don't go for.
221
00:21:12,204 --> 00:21:15,173
Promise of long service and good conduct.
Are you a virgin?
222
00:21:15,540 --> 00:21:17,770
Thought you were. Could always tell.
223
00:21:18,043 --> 00:21:19,340
Congratulations.
224
00:21:19,411 --> 00:21:22,278
l was two years
at the University of Chicago.
225
00:21:22,381 --> 00:21:24,372
Studying virgin detection?
226
00:21:25,517 --> 00:21:28,418
Only at night school.
Architecture during the day.
227
00:21:28,754 --> 00:21:31,279
l always thought American women
would be different.
228
00:21:31,390 --> 00:21:33,881
l thought they'd broken
the inhibitions barrier...
229
00:21:33,959 --> 00:21:35,790
and it was all one long sex feast.
230
00:21:35,894 --> 00:21:38,089
-No?
-But no.
231
00:21:38,263 --> 00:21:40,959
The nicely brought-up American girl
plays cool and modern...
232
00:21:41,066 --> 00:21:44,035
but what she wants
is what her grandmother wanted:
233
00:21:45,337 --> 00:21:48,431
your head stuffed and mounted
on the living room wall.
234
00:21:50,742 --> 00:21:54,906
And if you don't want it that way,
you can take your loving self elsewhere...
235
00:21:55,080 --> 00:21:57,014
speaking quite generally, of course.
236
00:21:57,115 --> 00:21:59,583
Of course. Who was she?
237
00:22:01,853 --> 00:22:03,252
What do you mean?
238
00:22:04,389 --> 00:22:07,222
Her name was Cathy Seligman,
if you must know.
239
00:22:07,559 --> 00:22:10,858
She was selfish, grasping, philistine...
240
00:22:11,096 --> 00:22:15,089
materialistic, stubborn, opinionated.
l was crazy about her.
241
00:22:15,467 --> 00:22:17,458
Lucky for you, you'll never meet her.
242
00:22:17,569 --> 00:22:20,629
She's now
Mrs. Howard Maxwell Manchester.
243
00:22:22,240 --> 00:22:24,572
l always knew you two had to meet.
244
00:22:24,776 --> 00:22:28,644
''There's only one drawback,'' Howard said.
''We'll have to go to Greece.''
===================
327
00:27:38,723 --> 00:27:43,422
lt's very reassuring at times
to retain a certain flexibility of attitude.
328
00:27:44,729 --> 00:27:48,756
Howard has a tremendously mature
quality. That's what l love about him.
329
00:27:49,034 --> 00:27:51,025
He has quiet assurance.
330
00:27:52,837 --> 00:27:56,773
-Don't you think he has quiet assurance?
-Very quiet assurance.
331
00:27:56,908 --> 00:27:58,808
He's the husband type.
332
00:27:59,411 --> 00:28:02,278
You were always the lover type.
l guess you still are.
333
00:28:02,380 --> 00:28:05,213
l've been married to Joanna
for nearly two years.
334
00:28:05,283 --> 00:28:09,083
But your relationship is basically volatile.
Anyone can see that.

============
347
00:29:05,009 --> 00:29:07,944
Very funny, isn't it?
But l happen to have a schedule.
348
00:29:08,012 --> 00:29:12,005
The trouble is, there's two of us.
That's the basis of the whole trouble.
349
00:29:12,917 --> 00:29:17,786
lf l ever have a car, l swear l'll never pass
a single hitchhiker as long as l live.
350
00:29:27,031 --> 00:29:29,090
Must we dice with death?
351
00:29:33,838 --> 00:29:37,638
Since when has this car
got only two speeds, 1 10 and stop?
352
00:29:37,709 --> 00:29:41,338
-l'll tell you what, you drive.
-l'll tell you what, l'll walk.
353
00:29:41,412 --> 00:29:42,879
Okay, walk!
354
00:29:44,149 --> 00:29:46,379
Come on, Jo, don't be silly.
355
00:29:49,020 --> 00:29:52,217
You'd be far better off on your own,
wouldn't you?
356
00:29:52,323 --> 00:29:54,188
Oh, not again, Joanna!
357
00:29:54,259 --> 00:29:57,251
You want to get on, l know.
Maurice is waiting.
358
00:29:57,362 --> 00:29:58,659
Let him wait.
359
00:29:58,730 --> 00:30:01,597
He's got you on a line.
All he has to do is reel you in.
360
00:30:01,699 --> 00:30:05,100
Shut up about Maurice. lf it weren't
for him, you know what we'd be?
361
00:30:05,236 --> 00:30:06,328
-Happy!
-Broke.
362
00:30:06,437 --> 00:30:07,529
Broke and happy.
363
00:30:07,639 --> 00:30:10,107
You wanna go back to living in a cellar?
You hated it.
364
00:30:10,208 --> 00:30:12,267
-l loved it.
-You hated it.
365
00:30:13,077 --> 00:30:14,476
l hated it.
366
00:30:15,046 --> 00:30:17,606
l hate being at other people's
beck and call.
367
00:30:17,715 --> 00:30:21,048
As soon as someone becks or calls,
l resent it, that's all.
368
00:30:21,119 --> 00:30:23,314
Okay, you run the show. You handle it.
369
00:30:23,421 --> 00:30:26,982
You worry about the house, the flat,
Nanny, and Mrs. Rathbone.
370
00:30:27,091 --> 00:30:29,116
l don't want any of them.
371
00:30:29,227 --> 00:30:32,822
Do l? Am l the one that wants
enamel sports watches?
372
00:30:34,299 --> 00:30:37,097
Take your watch. l don't want it.
l don't want anything.
373
00:30:37,168 --> 00:30:41,002
Why is it, when you give a woman what
she wants, she gets so bloody minded?
374
00:30:41,139 --> 00:30:44,802
You don't give me what l want.
You give me what you want to give me.
375
00:30:46,010 --> 00:30:47,807
Joanna, your watch.
376
00:30:49,180 --> 00:30:50,977
Joanna, l love you.
377
00:31:08,199 --> 00:31:10,531
Come on, Maurice is waiting.
378
00:31:11,469 --> 00:31:12,663
Bitch.
379
00:31:14,239 --> 00:31:17,675
Listen, sweetheart.
We're not going to make it together. See?
380
00:31:17,809 --> 00:31:20,573
We don't get the breaks.
So this is the kiss off.
381
00:31:20,678 --> 00:31:23,146
You take the high road,
l'll take the low road.
382
00:31:23,214 --> 00:31:26,012
We'll see who gets in where
before who. Okay?
383
00:31:26,751 --> 00:31:30,710
lf we meet again, great.
lf not, happy holidays.
384
00:31:31,222 --> 00:31:33,315
No hard feelings, but....
385
00:31:33,391 --> 00:31:35,416
-You have a schedule.
-Right.
386
00:32:28,246 --> 00:32:31,238
What happened to your slick friend
in the Alfa Romeo?
387
00:32:31,316 --> 00:32:34,444
l told him l was in love with you,
so he put me down.
388
00:32:45,663 --> 00:32:48,564
-l warn you....
-Don't.
==========
389
00:33:07,452 --> 00:33:09,818
What would you say to a cup of coffee?
390
00:34:00,038 --> 00:34:03,804
What kind of people would sit like that
without a word to say to each other?
391
00:34:03,875 --> 00:34:05,433
Married people?
392
00:34:18,856 --> 00:34:21,484
This is definitely against my principles.
393
00:34:22,660 --> 00:34:26,152
Good. l wouldn't like to think
it happened all the time.
394
00:34:26,531 --> 00:34:30,831
l had absolutely no intention
of sleeping in hotels.
395
00:34:34,105 --> 00:34:35,538
You didn't?
396
00:34:36,407 --> 00:34:39,740
Hell, no. What do you think l brought
a sleeping sack for?
397
00:34:40,778 --> 00:34:43,110
l hadn't seriously thought about it.
398
00:34:53,024 --> 00:34:55,720
-Who are you?
-Some girl.
======Some girl.========hotel伏在男人身上的Some girl.
399
00:35:08,406 --> 00:35:09,839
Sleep well?
400
00:35:10,007 --> 00:35:13,170
l think that room was
over the plate-smashing annex.
401
00:35:13,744 --> 00:35:16,212
My days for roughing it are over.
402
00:35:16,414 --> 00:35:20,282
Next time, get Maurice to reserve us
a room if you can't remember yourself...
403
00:35:20,384 --> 00:35:24,878
preferably with a carpet, and
something else in the hot tap besides....
1
00:32:34,600 --> 00:32:38,366
2
00:32:38,437 --> 00:32:39,995
1
00:32:52,418 --> 00:32:55,046
2
00:32:56,222 --> 00:32:59,714
3
00:33:00,093 --> 00:33:04,393
4
00:33:07,667 --> 00:33:09,100
5
00:33:09,969 --> 00:33:13,302
6
00:33:14,340 --> 00:33:16,672
1
00:33:25,586 --> 00:33:28,282
1
00:33:39,968 --> 00:33:41,401
2
00:33:41,569 --> 00:33:44,732
3
00:33:45,306 --> 00:33:47,774
4
00:33:47,976 --> 00:33:51,844
5
00:33:51,946 --> 00:33:56,440
===========
498
00:44:50,387 --> 00:44:53,879
l don't want to come out after lunch
to a red-hot car again.
499
00:44:55,693 --> 00:44:58,423
What does ''Reserve a la direction'' mean?
500
00:44:58,762 --> 00:45:00,627
Reserved for the management.
501
00:45:00,731 --> 00:45:02,528
Hell, we're the customers.
502
00:45:06,904 --> 00:45:09,372
Why do you think Red China is a bitch?
1
00:43:03,255 --> 00:43:05,985
2
00:43:06,324 --> 00:43:08,189
3
00:43:08,293 --> 00:43:10,090
4
00:43:14,466 --> 00:43:16,934
5
00:43:19,437 --> 00:43:21,803
6
00:43:22,173 --> 00:43:25,574
==============
549
00:50:07,537 --> 00:50:11,200
You're the only woman l know who's
prepared to share a bed with a sardine.
550
00:50:11,308 --> 00:50:14,539
l don't care what kind of a sardine you are.
l like you.
551
00:50:16,613 --> 00:50:19,639
-Will you hate me when l'm bowfronted?
-Undoubtedly.
552
00:50:20,550 --> 00:50:22,814
-And will you be unfaithful to me?
-Blatantly.
553
00:50:24,054 --> 00:50:26,579
-You promised l could.
-You promised you wouldn't.
554
00:50:26,656 --> 00:50:28,214
When we got married.
555
00:50:30,627 --> 00:50:32,788
Do you mind undoing what you did?
556
00:50:41,538 --> 00:50:42,562
Thanks.
557
00:50:43,273 --> 00:50:44,501
You're welcome.
558
00:50:45,809 --> 00:50:47,834
Aren't you coming to bed at all?
559
00:50:48,845 --> 00:50:49,834
Tired?
560
00:50:53,683 --> 00:50:54,707
l won't be long.
561
00:50:54,818 --> 00:50:57,844
Shall l call your secretary
and make an appointment?
562
00:50:59,389 --> 00:51:01,914
When did you start being as snide as this?
563
00:51:04,661 --> 00:51:06,993
Right after we got married, didn't l?
564
00:51:07,898 --> 00:51:09,763
-Did we get married?
-Yeah.
565
00:51:11,101 --> 00:51:12,261
Remember?
566
00:51:12,803 --> 00:51:14,828
When sex stopped being fun.
567
00:51:15,505 --> 00:51:18,440
Yeah. lt started being official.
568
00:51:20,710 --> 00:51:22,041
l remember.
569
00:51:35,692 --> 00:51:39,128
l think that lovely little lake
breeds lovely little mosquitoes.
570
00:51:39,196 --> 00:51:42,063
-l'll close the window.
-We'll suffocate.
1
00:48:02,819 --> 00:48:06,482
2
00:48:06,590 --> 00:48:09,821
3
00:48:11,895 --> 00:48:14,921
4
00:48:15,832 --> 00:48:18,096
1
00:48:18,336 --> 00:48:20,861
2
00:48:20,938 --> 00:48:22,496
3
00:48:24,909 --> 00:48:27,070
1
00:48:34,820 --> 00:48:35,844
2
00:48:36,555 --> 00:48:37,783

Candice:
Her Majesty:
从纸婚到布婚,我爱的是你俊美的脸庞;
从皮婚到丝婚,你爱的是我甜言的蜜语;
从木婚到铁婚,我看到的是激情的消褪;
从铜婚到电婚,你看到的是争吵的哭泣;
从陶婚到锡婚,我想要的是初遇的微笑;
4 outta 4. Great Movie.
