聖誕節即將到來，所有小孩都非常期待，唯獨查理布朗一點都不開心，因為他不知道慶祝聖誕節的含意是什麼?於是，露西安排他參與聖誕劇的活動，讓他擔任導演的工作，這樣就可體會聖誕節對他所擁有的感受。彩排時大家狀況百出，露西就請他與奈勒斯到外頭找一棵適合裝飾舞台劇的聖誕樹，結果查理布朗卻看中一棵小樹，而被大家嘲笑是笨蛋。他鼓起信心裝飾那棵小樹，卻還是搞砸了，此時史努比的狗屋裝飾竟獲得社區聖誕裝飾的第一名，正當查理布朗沮喪時，大家合力裝飾那棵 小樹，給查理布朗帶來很大的聖誕驚喜。

1 ) lovely sixties' piece
I used that to practise english listening and oral training.
It amazed me that such a lovely piece was shot at 1965 in USA. What did we have domestically? "eight model plays" perhaps? it is a great shame that not everyone can share the best in these days there isn't a internet.

Linus Van Pelt:

Linus's speech about the true meaning of Christmas is actually Luke 2:8-14 from the King James translation of the Bible.
PS. The actors (all children) learned their lines phonetically, often not knowing what they meant, which led to the now familiar Peanuts delivery-style.

想想
我知道没有人喜欢我，但为什么非得通过圣诞节来强调这一点呢。
重看居然代入查理布朗心里好难过。但最后还是被安慰到了。
60 初动画特别篇黄金时代的代表作。标题中的「查理布朗」并不只是一个名字，而是一个形容词，用来形容那种困惑失落，却又并不会被彻底压倒的感受。是淡淡的，模糊不清的，又极其平凡的。
